The Slovak Chamber of English Teachers/Slovenská komora angličtinárov (SKA) is pleased to host its inaugural ELT conference. After successfully organising ELTForum 2014 conference with David Crystal on behalf of the Slovak Association of Language Schools and becoming an IATEFL associate in early 2015, the time has arrived for SKA to put on its own international conference for and on behalf of Slovakia’s thousands of English teachers. It is our hope that ‘Teaching together, Learning together’ will meet the expectations of both our members and partners for quality training in our field of English language teaching. We look forward to seeing you there!
SKA is an independent, volunteer, non-profit professional association for teachers of English as a foreign language and other ELT professionals working in Slovakia.
SKA currently has over 280 members, including teachers, teacher trainers, university students and instructors, directors of study, school owners, publishers’ reps, writers, editors, researchers and consultants. Anybody who is involved in English teaching in Slovakia can join SCET.
